Overly Attached Girlfriend was a young woman smiling directly into the camera with a wide, unblinking grin, eyes never leaving you, and it became the internet's portrait of devotion run amok: 'I love you. I've already named our kids.' The photo came from a YouTube video, and the woman behind it, Laina Morris, rode the meme to a career and a subreddit with half a million members before retiring it. It died in 2014 when Laina stepped back and the grin found a thousand imitators. But every time someone texts 'where are you???' with three question marks, a little of her lives on.
