Obituary

Born a stock photo in 2015, Distracted Boyfriend became the internet's universal metaphor in February 2017: the man looking at one thing while his girlfriend looks at him in disbelief. He explained infidelity, tax policy, console wars, and the entire concept of attention. He died the death of every stock photo: too many captions, not enough pixels. His girlfriend never forgave him. Neither did we.
