Nicolas Cage Losing It was the collected screaming faces of Nicolas Cage — from The Wicker Man's 'NOT THE BEES!' to a dozen other movies where he delivered maximum emotion with zero off-switch — edited into the internet's favorite reaction to overwhelming situations. 'Me trying to open a PDF' was its most famous caption. The meme celebrated Cage's commitment: he had never met a scene he couldn't overact, and the internet loved him for it. It died in 2019, not because Cage calmed down (he did not), but because the meme had used every available face. Cage remains, somewhere, losing it for a new generation.
