This Is Fine was a dog sitting in a burning room, drinking coffee, insisting everything was fine. It was drawn in 2013 by KC Green and became the official portrait of 2016, a year that set the room on fire and then complained about the smell. The dog died not when the fire went out but when it became the only way anyone talked about anything. It is survived by every meeting that could have been an email.
