Cheems was a Shiba Inu named Balltze whose face, mid-yawn, looked permanently soft and slightly concerned, and whose captions were written in a gentle lisp: 'I am doin me a concern.' He was the friendliest resident of this cemetery — a dog who never got angry, only worried. He appeared in the famous 'Swole Doge vs. Cheems' format as the weak one, which was the joke: Cheems was weak, and the internet loved him precisely because of it. Balltze died in 2023, of cancer, at age 12. The meme had already passed quietly in 2021. The softness remained.
